Gorgeous desk accessories
Whether your office is virtual and your desk double duties as your kitchen counter or you’re in a high rise corner office, we are in love with the Buro collection of desk accessories.
They have a rubberized finish and come in grey, green and violet. What is so fantastic is that they don’t look like a standard stapler or mismatching $2 office max supplies mish mashed together.
This is a really beautiful set and on top of its existing aesthetic beauty, they can be mashed together at the end of the day as a block of supplies. Also, we bet you didn’t know you needed a lens, did you? Well, you do now.
Psychologists are talking about your desk
Are you like most of us around here with an incessant need to have perfectly organized desks (well, perfectly organized everything) or are you the type that has piles of paper everywhere that have joined teams and become one amoebic mass with a soul? Yeah, we know you know where everything is but it gives OCD people (like several of us) a minor panic attack just walking by and seeing it?
We digress… psychologists are talking about your desk. Jeff Hamilton on PsychologyToday.com writes, “ADD and a messy desk, that’s a bad combination. You may work out of your home, in a cubicle within an office building or your desk could sit in many different locations. No matter where it sits or how big it is, a mess is a mess and it can push you right off your path of productivity.”
Counselor Penelope Trunk writes, ” If you keep a messy desk, it’s probably inadvertent, and you will have to change behavior in order to clean up your act. It’s worth the effort, though. ‘There is a cultural bias toward orderliness,’ says Eric Abrahamson, professor at Columbia University Business School, ‘Messiness is considered bad.’ Kelly Crescenti, an Illinois-based career coach, concurs: ‘When people have a clean desk it looks like they get things done and they are productive.’”
In other words, your clients are judging your desk. And if you have ADD, a messy desk can hamper your productivity. We know Buro desk accessories won’t cure everything, but it is our experience that attractive accessories can inspire people to clean up entire rooms.

Very cool desk collections. I have two Desks, my office desk is fairly organized, my home desks looks like a Tanzanian devil lives on it. In my defense my kids use my desk as well. I am constantly getting after them to not leave mounds of paperwork on it.

I've often wondered about MDS — Messy Desk Syndrome. You coulda done surgery on Dad's desk. Mine? Don't make me laugh. Then there's the ever popular, 'Organized mind, organized desk'.
Used to be pretty sensitive to snarky comments about my cluttered desk. That is, till one day I said, 'Let's walk over to the clean, sparkly, super organized production board so we can check out the correlation. 🙂

I went to the website to purchase and can't buy from the website! Doesn't look like there are any retailers who carry the product in the USA. Nice way to tease me AG!!!!
