Facebook demographics
You may have studied who you want to reach with your marketing down to a science (ex: 25-40 year old single women in Sarasota), but how do you know if you’ve effectively hit the mark?
While conversion is another story, you can now see your demographics of the marketing channel of Facebook. If you use Facebook strictly for personal use, this tool is not for you, but if you spend any time or money marketing to your existing Facebook network, this is a gold mine that can tell you if you need to connect with more people in your target demo or if you’re right on.
Graphing tool for Facebook connections
Introducing Facebook Spectrum which analyzes and graphs the following:
- Where your connections are via Google map
- Gender of your connections
- Education levels of your connections
- Bonus: see connections’ birthdays listed, picture stats and more
To get started, go to Facebook Spectrum, and at the top right, click the blue “Login” button that will ask you permission to dig into your Facebook data (allow it to if you want to use FBSpectrum).
Technical note: the service originally worked for us but when we logged back in to take screen shots, we were unable to log in. No word from Facebook Spectrum as to whether or not this is a permanent glitch.
