Realtors’ Facebook Pages can now be tagged in Facebook photos

Realtors can be tagged

Realtors, it’s time to spruce up your Facebook business pages because people that “like” your page can now tag your page in photos. Let’s say you take your buyers on a tour but you’re careful to duck from photos, you can still be tagged legitimately in images via your page.

Now when you take a picture of yourself working at Starbucks, you can tag your cup with Starbucks and your picture will show up in the pictures tab on Starbucks’ page.

Helping local businesses- ideas to get you started

More than needing to spruce up your own page, this is a fantastic way to give a shout out to local businesses and clients. When you’re at the title company, take a shot with your smartphone (with picplz) and get over to Facebook and tag the Title Company and even your closer.

When you’re touring new homes, tag the builder and maybe the construction company. If you’re shopping in the mall, take a shot of the storefront your current client just merchandised to give them props. When you’re at a local conference, take shots of the expo floor and tag the vendors you like.

Next time you’re on a broker tour, take pictures of other agents’ from your team’s listings on the tour and tag them. Tag the interior designers, architects, eco-cleaners, landscapers and the like.

Being a good steward is good for business

This is your chance to get tagged, but think of it more as an opportunity to give back to the community and share other peoples’ pages with your network. The bonus is that your pictures will show up in the photo tab, but moreover, goodwill when sincere can go a long way. Be a good steward to your community, and Facebook is giving you one way to do it!
