So, I’m surfing Twitter this morning and I see this Tweet from my friend Alex in Miami.

Threaded Twitter Conversations? Hey, that sounds cool. I’m going to check it out. ::clicks on link::

Now I’m looking at what Alex made with Yahoo pipes.

Let’s look under the hood to see what’s in there ::Clicks on view source::

Hey, that looks rad, I want one too! ::Clones Pipe::

Searching for the RSS feeds generated by:
1. My Twitter timeline &
2. A search on Terraminds for @andykaufman
to substitute into the Fetch Feed module of my new pipe
5:00
Cutting and pasting the RSS feeds into the Fetch Feed modules
6:00
Run pipe. Voila… Finished! Now I can check out all my Twitter conversations by going to my new Yahoo Pipe.
What? That was 6 minutes?
No! No, no, not 6! I said 7. Nobody’s comin’ up with 6. Who creates in app in 6 minutes? You won’t even get your feeds goin, not even a trickle out of the pipe.
7’s the key number here. Think about it. 7-Elevens. 7 doors. 7, man, that’s the number. 7 chipmunks twirlin’ on a branch, eatin’ lots of sunflowers on my uncle’s ranch. You know that old children’s tale from the sea. It’s like you’re dreamin’ about Gorgonzola cheese when it’s clearly Brie time, baby.
Fine Then…

I add a Sort module and configure it so that the pipe outputs the conversation in reverse chronological order.
7:00
… And there you go, My 7 Minute App. It’s Brie time baby!
Thanks to Alex for the inspiration & imdb for helping me nail the movie quote
