We know, we know – it’s already awesome
Do you find yourself spending hours on pic monkey, editing until you have the exposure just right? Touching up that agonizing blemish? Designing the perfect business card? Or creating the most spatially strategic collage ever? Well here at Genius Media, we not only understand your obsession, we share it. And because it is one of our favorite online tools to use, we couldn’t wait to share their new awesome functionalities with you, one Picmonkey addict to another.
Titilating typography
As recently as this week, the good people over at Picmonkey added some major improvements to the text tool. For all of us font freaks, there are now various shadow options and captivating text effects, at our fingertips. If you think that new header looks better with a drop shadow one day, go right ahead. Feeling more of an inner shadow vibe today? They have that too. Another awesome text functionality, is the new package of fonts we have access to, including: Lato, Bodoni XT and Nexa Rust.
Luxurious levels
For those of you who are photo editor savvy, with an appreciation for the perfect brightness, contrast, and tonal range, they’ve added a Levels tool for you.
But wait, there’s more!
Users are now able to utilize an awesome before and after button that allows them to compare edits to the original image. This makes it easy to track your progress, and make sure you haven’t distorted the image too far past your desired look.
Bewitching brightness
Following behind in close place with awesomeness is the improved exposure function. We are now able to access “Brightness,” “Highlights,” “Shadows,” and “Contrast” with the convenient sliders that now have access to double the range. Speaking of those convenient little sliders, there is now an option to use automatic slider correction: by double clicking on any slider, it will return to its default setting.
Scintillating sizing options
Last but not least is the new size options for the cropping tool. Don’t you just hate when the perfect cell phone picture is ruined with annoying pixelation? Well fret no more, Picmonkey has gifted us Iphone 6 and Pinterest image options, helping to avoid the issue of pixilation.
We were in a frenzy when we heard about the new features, so we can only imagine your excitement. Now that one of the best photo editing and graphic design tools, has become even more mind boggling, head over and check out how they can bring your creativity to life.
