Responster: Boost survey response rates with gorgeous new app

Responster is taking on the survey giants by being better designed, mobile ready, and customizable. The goal is to get more responses, and they say they’re the way.

Getting useful real-time feedback

Businesses across all industries view customer feedback as an invaluable resource to their company. They often gather this data with a survey, which allows companies to use positive and negative evaluations from their consumers to make improvements in areas they may not have realized was needed.

Unfortunately, these surveys are often mind-numbing. We’ve all groaned through an online survey, clicking through the seemingly endless bubbles. It’s usually formatted all wonky and not well written. There’s a point in every survey when that little voice in your head asks, does this survey really matter? Am I wasting my time?

The people at Responster have created a new style of surveys to keep your customers from asking themselves these questions. They believe if you want people to actually take your survey, you must turn them into a great user experience. No more boring, lifeless surveys.

Responster believes in getting more responses (genius!)

They also believe that you should start targeting smartphones in order to get more responses if you are needing to conduct a survey. Most companies haven’t made that online to mobile transition with their surveys yet, but if you want better response rates, it might be time to do so.

Responster has been designed especially for smartphones, tablets, and browsers. It can be used on your IPad so you will have the ability to carry it with you wherever you go. They’ve also recently developed an app for iOS and Android, which will allow you to collect data in real-time so your business can spot issues before it turns into something more serious.

How it all works

Creating a basic survey with Responster is simple. You give your survey a name, choose questions by dragging them from the story board, write the question in the question box and add answer selections, save your question, then rinse & repeat until your survey is complete. Next up is the design feature of your survey, an important step that allows you to customize your survey with a variety of visually appealing templates.

You can also build a survey team on Responster, adding administrators and users to collect data. Not only do you get handy survey building features, Responster offers little tips as you go along, like the importance of keeping your survey easy, and how it should take no longer than five minutes.

If you are ready to switch to more user-friendly survey model that promises to boost response rates, Responster might be for you. Responster is a freemium model, with your first 14 days coming with unlimited access.
