The number of millennials entering the workforce has employers at attention, learning that this generation is a different breed.

Much focus has been placed on the generation’s entitlement mentality, but as the group matures, more relevant trends have emerged, particularly with what they expect from the workforce, and more importantly, what they contribute.


Millennials are not bound by a single office, a single job, or a traditional 9 to 5 schedule. They work from anywhere, anytime, all with the aid of technology. The remote workforce grew as a result of the economic crash, and Millennials took to that idea, with the majority either open to it as a work option, or preferring it, even expecting it.
