Lines are long, please vote anyway
Your phone may be ringing off of the hook, and your day may be jam packed, but we ask that all American citizens, please take the time to vote today. We know lines are long – we just stood in line for over an hour and a half, and that’s in a county with a very simple ballot.
We are hearing millennials say their vote doesn’t matter, or that all politicians suck, and we’re hearing from other people that they are going to tell people they voted, but will not go brave the lines, the weather, or the bother.
Past, present, and future generations sacrifice lives so that you can vote. Think about that. People’s mothers have been handed folded flags for their sacrifice. Their hearts have stopped, their limbs have been shot off, they’ve left behind children, spouses, siblings, and parents… all for you.
Please don’t fake your vote. Every voice matters, no matter your candidate.
