Seven Android apps for business that just became free

Being a business professional or a business owner can be pricey. Everyone wants money and everything comes with a hefty price tag. Even if some things don’t cost too much on their own, these little expenses can add up quickly. With that in mind, here are seven Android apps geared toward the business professional that are now free to download!

1. Used to be $1.42

PC Monitor – This secure app allows you to manage your computers from anywhere, all on your Android. It even encrypts the data so that your information is protected and safe. You can monitor up to three computers from your phone and there isn’t even a subscription payment—all free!

2. Used to be $5

SmartTrip GPS – Just as it sounds, SmartTrip GPS is a GPS app for the Android, which makes it a great app for those who travel for work. Whether you’re heading to a meeting with a client or you need to drop off some paperwork at a client’s office, SmartTrip GPS can make it easy, and it’s cheaper than buying a traditional GPS, as it’s completely free to download.

3. Used to be $2.99

ROAMpay – If you have to conduct business on-the-go, ROAMpay may be an easy solution to the problem of accepting credit cards while out of the office. The ROAMpay app allows you to accept credit card payments on your Android, no matter where you are or what time it is. While this app is free, there is a small catch. You have to have a merchant account with one of their partners. However, if you already have one, this app is a great option to consider.

4. Used to be $3.26

To Do List – Need help organizing your many tasks and daily responsibilities? The To Do List app can help you do just that. You can create tasks and keep track of ones you’ve completed. You can even create “favorites”—tasks that you need to complete often and regularly. While there are many other similar apps, you just can’t beat free.

5. Used to be $2.53

Fuelbook Mobile Pro –  Whether you have employees who drive while on the clock or you drive as part of your professional responsibilities and duties, Fuelbook Mobile Pro can help you track your drivers, vehicles, trip-related expenses—such as food, gas, and road tolls—and mileage. This easy-to-use app even shows you detailed charts of the compiled data and route maps.

6. Used to be $1.40

Presenter – If you frequent business meetings, the Presenter download might be the perfect free app for you. When you need to make a presentation, Presenter allows you to use your Smartphone to change Powerpoint, PDF, or OpenOffice slides. It is marketed to be a no-frills app. It contains just what you need to make an awesome presentation, and that’s it!

7. Used to be $1.14

Faces – As a business professional, you have to interact with many people each day. As a result, you may have a hard time remembering people’s names. This is where the free Faces Android app comes into play. All you have to do is get pictures of every one of your contacts and Faces will help you match their names to their faces by a simple memory game. Not only will it help you in your professional life, but it can be quite entertaining, too.

It doesn’t matter what type of business you run or own; there is a free Android app that can help increase your productivity, organization, or presentation skills. And whatever your specific business needs, there is an app somewhere out there for you. You may just have to do a little digging.
