Free because you are a REALTOR

This past week while speaking to the Massachusetts Buyer Agent Association, I ended up showing yet another group of REALTORS® what Realtor.org offers their members. I don’t have any information in my handout on it, it just always seems to happen.

So what am I talking about? The LIBRARY on Realtor.org

Click in, you will have to register with your NRDS number. You will then have a user name and password. Once there check out a few of the amazing areas.

Once in the library you will see a Table of Contents. Check out the Field Guides. They are a collection of articles, ebooks, audio books on various relevant topics. The list is quite extensive. The Ebooks Collection is a free database of books that you can “take out” from the library for 3 weeks to read or listen to. Many of the audio books can be burned on a CD so you can listen while you are in the car. I recently “borrowed, burned and listened” to “The Four Hour Work Week, for FREE. Sometimes the books are already checked out, but the library alerts you by email when you can check them out.

Remember this word, PROQUEST. This is a free searchable collection of over a thousand publications that you can read online . . . including publications like the Wall Street Journal. I have put links to articles in publications from ProQuest and included them in my email updates to clients, and I didn’t have to buy the subscription to the online newspaper.

The Ebook group is now taking eReviews from members on books that they read. I have found some unlikely reads here as well. Check it out here.

    Amy;
    You are so smart because you point out benefits that are just ignored by most members. And even I, who have used it, doesn’t remember to tell people about it. Some great tuff here, and the digital book format is easy to use and bookmark.
    Thanks for letting folks know where the good stuff is!
    🙂

    Bill,

    Start taking polls in your class and you will see very few even visit Realtor.org. Hopefully we can change that.

    Matt – need your collaborative efforts on some video coaching coming up. Lets chat.

    Thanks Amy, ProQuest sounds like a good find. I would love to search periodicals on line in one place. That 4 day work week, doesn’t sound bad either.

    This is awesome! And, yes, many of us overlook the benefits too much. Thanks for reminding us!
