Looking, Clicking, Reading…
It always happens the same way – exactly how that is, I have no idea. But basically I’m screwing around on the internet. Looking, clicking, reading. Clicking, reading, looking. I land on something interesting. This time it was Google maps. Not just Google maps. But this link that says “more photos, videos, and user-created maps.” Click.
Hey! How’d they do that? They’ve got pictures. I’ve got pictures.
Click.
It’s Easy.
Create your profile with password, website, a little about yourself, copyright licenses and email alerts. Upload your photos, map them and get it on with Google.
It’s another project to have to transfer your photos from Flickr, but Google the godzilla is probably worth the effort.
A little secret: upload a bunch of photos at a time, title them then map them. Stay away from that Finish button! Back away from that button right now.

Very cool, Vicki……….never heard of it. I do use Google local but didn’t know about photos.

How about a “Map my Commute” function on your local blog, or a “See my house” on google earth!
