Google+ rolls out some sexy new features
Google+ has announced some major new features, with most people focusing attention on their new enhancement suite for uploaded videos, new video editing tools, a new animated GIF creator, and soon, an updated Android Hangouts App.
This year, Google+ rolled out auto enhancement feature for uploaded photos, but a genius new option is rolling out for videos: Auto Awesome. This new feature adds several features, starting with “Action” which creates a strobe-effect photo, “Eraser,” which gets rid of anything moving to create a more clear image, and “Movie” pulls together highlight reels from your videos and your photos, which includes the suite of effects like transitions and soundtrack. Automatically.
Additionally, you can set the time for your video, add free music, remove scenes, and so much more, making videography insanely simple as seen below:

Hangouts App for Android gets a facelift
Google also announced updates to the Hangouts App for Android which will soon appear in the Google Play Store, including SMS integration and GIF support.
While much of the app’s updates includes bug fixes, users are about to get HD video, animated GIF support, improved location sharing, and SMS integration so users can send and receive text messages with Hangouts. Because of this SMS move, it appears Google is telegraphing that they plan to integrate Hangout as the default messaging app in the upcoming Android 4.4. KitKat update.
Analysts praise all of Google’s major announcements yesterday, and we are hopeful that this is one of Google’s steps to make their suite more intuitive.
