SmarterQueue schedules social media with a new twist

Social media scheduling is nearly as old as Twitter, but SmarterQueue is in beta, claiming to offer a new twist.

Scheduling isn’t new, but SmarterQueue adds a new twist

Scheduling your Facebook posts or Tweets in a not a new concept. Buffer and HootSuite have been offering the service for quite some time, adding productivity and efficiency to your social media posts.

Between the two, it’s more a matter of personal preference, much like asking if you would rather drive a Chevy or a Ford. Because of the growth of social media, it’s not surprising that other companies would begin to fill the fill the market.

One very promising app is called SmarterQueue

SmarterQueue says it’s “the easiest way to do social media. Properly.”

With this new tool, your business makes categorized queues of posts, so that you can schedule the related content at the same time but mix them with other content to see what your overall plan is. SmarterQueue lets you recycle content and create new content while balancing your approach to maintain customers and reach new audiences.

There isn’t much data available about the company itself, but on LinkedIn, founder Claude Schneider has listed his background as a “lean startup evangelist, product guy, and growth hacker.” He is the founder of Portfora, which is a portfolio for models for the fashion industry.

SmarterQueue is now in beta testing

SmarterQueue is in beta testing, and businesses can sign up to try it out while it’s free. Once the product is launched, there will be a pricing schedule that fits into the market rates.

Currently, SmarterQueue is only available for Facebook and Twitter, and they hope to add support for LinkedIn, Google+, and Tumblr. Instagram and Pinterest don’t have the interface that allows scheduled posting, but SmarterQueue is trying to develop something that might work with Instagram.

It’s no secret that social media is a good way to increase your customer base. Tools that make using Facebook and Twitter easier will benefit your business, but don’t forget to engage with your customers on social media.
