Nix notes at meetings and elsewhere

Attending meetings can be tedious and tiresome, but in most cases mandatory. This is only made worse if you are the person given the daunting task of taking the meeting notes. In a technology-driven world, there has to be a better way to keep a record of the meeting. Gridspace is offering one solution.

Gridspace is an application and/or device that automatically saves and indexes meeting conversations. The recording device, the Memo M1, acts as an enhanced audio recorder. But, it is different from traditional recorders because it can save, search, and share meetings like emails in your inbox. You can search for a word or person in any meeting by using cutting-edge machine learning to detect what is said and who is saying it.

This allows the rest of your attendees to remain focused on and participating in the meeting, rather than worry about recording every detail. The software automatically interprets meetings and creates a special online Memo document. Meeting participants and other collaborators can access highlights or details as well as an attendee list, which makes networking after an event much easier.

Mobile app turns into your personal assistant

The mobile app also turns your smartphone into a personal assistant that accurately takes your meeting notes. And unlike traditional recorders, Memo automatically syncs your meetings to the cloud. Memo Mobile offers the basic functionality of Memo M1 meeting recorder in a simple mobile app. Capture a meeting with a tap and save the conversation for later. This makes it easier to work on-the-go.

Since the meetings are stored in the cloud, should you ever lose your smartphone or M1, you do not have to worry about someone accessing your meetings. They would have to know your Gridspace account information to access your recordings. Gridspace also protects your meeting with bank-level security. It uses both 256-bit AES encryption and SSL.

If you are tired of waiting for someone to type up meeting notes and distribute them to attendees, Gridspace is a solution worth a look.
