Taskworld: task management tool with metrics, incentives

(Tech News) Taskworld has launched to do more than just help you organize thoughts – they put you to the test and incentivize your progress. Genius!

Task management on steroids: Taskworld

Most task management platforms want you to build a list of to-dos or schedule reminders, which is helpful, but having more information is always a bonus.

Taskworld is the first task management program to provide performance metrics on projects and incentivize progress. Created by International businessman Fred Mouawad, in an effort to better manage his eight companies around the world, Taskworld provides managers and employees easy access to the status of assigned projects and tasks. The cloud-based platform also gives evidence-based feedback, making employee reviews more accurate and non-disputable.

Taskworld consolidates collaboration so that teams can work effectively and less data falls through the cracks. It streams documents, comments, dates, and assignments in one place, so you no longer need to sift through email trying to find what you need. Organize your “Task Feed” using the filtering options; bookmark projects so you can sort your favorites (pin icon) and critical (bolt icon), allowing you to prioritize, quickly. Task status is also color-coded so you can see which are in-progress, completed, closed, or overdue. You can also use keywords to tag your tasks, to make searching or referencing in the archive easier.

Taskworld helps to streamline multiple projects and tasks at once; all projects have their own set of tasks that can be assigned to the right colleague. By organizing several tasks under one project, you can complete goals together. If you only want a certain colleague to be able to access a certain portion of the project, you can set exact parameters in the permission levels. By using the project metrics, you can determine how a project is progressing because all members have specific assignments and objectives to meet. By breaking larger goals into smaller, more manageable tasks, entire projects are completed with less stress.

Oh and the metrics!

Metrics measure how well a task was completed and if it was done on time. There is also a star rating system to determine satisfaction with the quality of a completed task. Completion scores are automatically computed based on the timeliness of a completed task. You can use the data collected in the metrics section to generate charts and graphs, allowing you to visually analyze and present performance and efficiency statistics. They function differently depending upon which area you are viewing: project, participant, or colleague metrics. See details relevant to each category when you click on them.

The only thing I found that was not completely clear was the incentive progress; unless they are referring to the star ratings and overall progress ratings, which makes sense because when people know they are being rated, they tend to work harder.

Taskworld is also available as a mobile app on both iOS and Android to help business travelers manage their employees from remote locations.
