3M PocketProjector MP180 perfect for tech savvy agents

Move over, pocket protectors

Move over, pocket protectors, the PocketProjector is here, thanks to 3M. The 3M PocketProjector MP180 is a tiny projector weighing barely half a pound, it keeps its brightness longer than traditional projectors with its 32-lumens, capable of projecting still or moving images.

The MP180 offers up to 80 inches in projection, quite sizable for a tiny projector. It has on-board memory as demonstrated in the video above and a two hour battery life.

The PocketProjector MP180 is available with an array of prices, but we found it for $399 on the 3M website which is steep for a toy, but low for a team investment.

We think the PocketProjector is perfect for those times when an agent is sitting at a coffee house doing a hip listing presentation about how tech savvy they are, with the husband, wife, mother-in-law and college aged son crowded around his or her back as they present their PowerPoint presentation. It would be so much easier to just whip out a PocketProjector.

You’ll also see it at conferences

We also anticipate that in coming months, you’ll see vendor booths at conferences featuring their own PocketProjectors given the cost effectiveness, and the ability to take a saved presentation from the booth to a restaurant or wherever a sales person wishes to impress buyers.

It comes with a USB Cable that should suffice for most users, but an Apple specific cord is available online, and if you’re ultra fancy and want to use a remote, it doesn’t always come with one but it’s available for under $10 on Amazon.

If you’re saying you’re the tech savviest agent in your market, this is a simple way to make a good impression on sellers and is useful for team meetings and the like. We anticipate that in coming years, PocketProjectors will come down in price as demand rises and demand for traditional stationary projectors declines.

What uses for the PocketProjector can you think of? Tell us in the comments!
