Realtors are always looking for a way to stand out and get buyers to come to them. Premium services offer a way to entice buyers to utilize your own services, but it can be difficult to find the right touch. Think outside your industry to get new ideas. Take a page from the travel market. To increase their bottom line, they began offering a personal photographer for travelers during their vacation.
When you think about social media, pictures are one of the first things that come to mind. With smartphones, they’re easy to post and are always there as a memory. Photos make great shareable content, and let others quickly see what you’re doing. Travel photos get the lion’s share of images. In June, 3.8 million images on Instagram were travel-related. Tourist companies around the world are providing local photographers to take pictures for tourists.
How does this relate to real estate marketing?
One of the most important moments in anyone’s life is when they purchase a home. Providing a personal photographer to commemorate this event would be a premium service that homeowners would love, but probably wouldn’t think about themselves. They could use this service anytime within a year. It might be on move-in day, from opening the door to their home the first time to unloading the moving van. Maybe they’d take advantage of the service after they were moved in and set up.
With families more mobile than ever, being able to post pictures of their new place on social media would allow their loved ones to see where they’re living.
Photos have always held a fascination for people, but today’s generation loves digital pictures as part of their memory box.
A professional photographer can seem like a luxury that most people wouldn’t hire on their own. If your office provided this service as part of your buyer’s package, you would stand out. Perhaps even pay your photographer to gently watermark your logo on the images prepared for the homeowner. You’ve got this!
