Convoi solves a huge pain point

We recently covered a way to conference outside of your home office, but if you need to conference virtually, a new app, Convoi may be a good option for iPhone users. The name may sound familiar as Convoi previously, focused on group texting for teams.
Now Convoi has added additional functionality to set up a conference call in a single tap with a conference room. From the conference call tab, you can easily dial-out to contacts or distribute the conference call phone number in advance. Convoi creates on-the-fly conference call phone numbers for every conference room, so they can be used as many times as you need. The best part is that there’s no app required for participants (you will just send the number) and no need for PINs or access codes.
Other features of note
In addition to these features, users can also leverage a personal cell phones for business calls by using a separate number in your preferred area code (United States and Canada users only). You can also track conversations as all inbound communication is in one place, allowing you to manage your business contacts quickly and efficiently. and receive notifications for incoming calls and texts.
In the “recent calls” tab, you receive notification for incoming calls and texts, as well as accessing buttons under a caller’s contact information so you can quickly call, text, or favorite them.
Whether you use Convoi to conference call without the hassle of PINs and codes, or just to monitor your calls and texts, it’s a good tool for the iPhone user looking to get their feet wet in conferencing tools without committing to something larger. One thing to note: Convoi will only work with the most recent iOS 8 update.
