What’s the first thing that prospective buyers click on when they visit a listing for the first time?
No, it is not the map, the schools, or the floor plan. Unfortunately, it’s also not the button to contact the listing agent for a tour.
Worth a thousand words
According to data from Listtrac, it is the photos of the interior and exterior. Nearly 60 percent of the 1,632,029 visitors who viewed Property Panorama’s InstaView virtual tours over the last month are “unique visitors,” a ratio of unique to total visitors that’s six times greater than the average ratio generated by third party vendors to an MLS.
The Listtrac data show that more than half of all visitors are new, prospective buyers who are clicking on InstaView tours on their first visit to the listing to learn more about properties.
“MLSs and brokers have begun to recognize that some tour providers like Property Panorama have the added benefit of attracting a wider audience because of automated delivery to social media and other applications,” states Mike Barnett, CEO, Property Panorama.
“Property Panorama demonstrates the highest ratio of unique listing views compared to all third party vendors in nearly all markets ListTrac measures metrics in,” said Trent Gardner, Listtrac CEO.
