You’ve probably been hearing about how major tech companies, like Google, have been developing and employing artificially intelligent chatbots to perform customer service functions, like responding to customer’s questions online and over the phone.
And why shouldn’t they? Bots are getting smarter and smarter, helping customers get the information they need and saving companies a lot of money on personnel.
Your customer service Buddy
But will artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots ever be available for real estate pros?
You don’t want to hire someone to stay up all night answering customer questions – but you may be losing customers who want more information at odd hours, especially if you have a web-based business.
Or perhaps you don’t have the budget for a dedicated customer service staff, so your employees are getting distracted from their duties by constantly dealing with customer concerns. A chatbot is sounding pretty good right about now.
Well, luckily, we didn’t have to wait long for AI chatbot technology to trickle down from the big companies to small businesses. Combining the artificial intelligence expertise of Google, Facebook, Amazon, and Carnegie Mellon University, a startup called Buddy has created an AI chatbot that can be trained to provide real time, 24/7, customized customer service support for your business. According to a representative from Buddy whom I chatted with, Buddy’s goal is to “bring AI chatbot as a service so that it can help small business.”
Answering their questions in real time
Setting up Buddy is simple – with just a few clicks, you can import all of your existing customer data, including FAQ’s and other important internal information.
With this data, Buddy is ready to deal with an estimated 90 percent of customer concerns, and with 90 percent response accuracy.
Apparently, Buddy can also flavor the conversation with personal touches.
Buddy can also be easily integrated with whatever major customer-communications platform you are already using, and with your company’s CRM software.
