Quality real estate video on the rise
With the rise of real estate video due to agent ambition and client demand, brokers are looking for ways to get more views for their videos, especially when they are of high production value. Real estate video companies’ businesses have picked up as many brokers realize that Flip cams are best for bloggers, but property videos and luxury homes deserve professional treatment.
Mass customize video
Enter Austin startup BizGreet can “mass-customize video” (or personalize them) based on a variety of user input, so imagine if someone logs in to your real estate website with Facebook or they’ve given any other form of input to your site (they’ve filled out a quick questionnaire, they’ve searched for a specific type of home), based on the criteria you set, the video they see on your site is specified for them. BizGreet claims that videos using their product can double the amount of video views.
If you want viewers who live in or are interested in the north side of town to see a video about your services there, you can customize that. If you want people over 65 to see your video about your new listings in the luxury villas, while on the same site you want people under 30 to see your video about the three newest highrises downtown, you can.
Imagine you’ve thought ahead and at the end of the video, you invite them to schedule a showing- BizGreet is integrated with Tungle, so you can get them started right away.
The old way versus the new way
According to BizGreet, the system “gives you ultimate flexibility and control over how your video ads appear. You produce the ad, upload the segments, define the decision rules, and launch the campaign. Our platform applies your decision rules and morphs each distinct video ad to use the segments and the criteria that you have set.” We understand that BizGreet has a variety of ancillary video services as well, so if you’re just starting out, they can help (voice overs, video production, etc.).
Reaffirming the potential of real estate video
This reaffirms why you would want your consumers to log in to your website via Facebook or have your own broker Facebook page- you can access their entire demographic profile instead of putting a video ad out there and twiddling your thumbs. BizGreet offers analytics, and can get down to a “one on one” level including a user’s first name, IP address and more. Here is an example from Texas Governor Rick Perry’s campaign of a personalized video.
We see a massive potential for this product in the real estate space and our sources at BizGreet tell us that no major brokerage has come aboard yet, so it will be interesting to see who gets to the finish line first, proving that they understand the value and merit of the social graph and the tenets of web culture and consumerism.

You’re follow email could be automated to send out a particular video depending on whether customer just viewed condos or houses, or which city or zip the homes were located in. Would cost a pretty penny to really use it to its potential with backend programming. But one deal pays for itself; that’s good part of upgrading your website.
